this panel along wiht bob chicilo's acft cfg and air file will make this plane a good airplane to fly. do this first,INSTALL BOB CHICILO'S ACFT CFG AND AIR FILES NOW. if you don't, the plane won't fly right and the guages in my panel won't work.
this is a standard install unzip the guages and panel folders, make sure you don't have double folders. then put the guages in your 2004 main guage folder. then rename the panel folder in the plane to something like old panel then insert my panel folder in the plane and you are set to go.
operation of panel:
click on the icons to bring up the windows for the yoke, gps and radios.on the panel you have a programable gps just install the lat and long and it will point you to the destination, but is not coupled to the autopilot.
at the bottom of the panel is a quadrant with different colored levers.
Red mixture
green carb heat
black, duplicate of overhead throttles
yellow cowl flaps
i know this panel looks funny being in the co-pilots position, but in this airplane, the captain flew from the right seat.
i could not get in contact with ito to modify his panel, so thru the kindness of frank elfert i was able to use his first officers panel. a little more modern, but close to the real thing.
i am a pilot in real life and i try to design panels close to the way they would appear in a real airplane.
my thanks also goes to Detlev Rohmer for the yoke from his goose v2 panel. i was not able tocontact him for theuse of his guage.
i would also like to thank all of the excellent guage makers in this sim world, who make these panels possible, without them, we would be flying with needle, ball and airspeed.
this panelis freeware and not to be sold, just use it and have fun flying. i amtrying to return a few things to the simworld to help pay for the many planes scenery and panels i have downloaded thru the years.
